Friends,

Hello everybody. I hope nobody got their week messed up because I forgot to change the subject line of the last update. Today's visit to the hospital was very uneventful! All my lab work came back very positive. I am afraid I am going to start boring all of you. The good news is that the platelets are up, the hemoglobin is holding it's own and the RBCs are steady. In fact, they found some monocytes in the sample. All of these are indications that my bone marrow is recovering again. GREAT NEWS! I still feel really good too! I have the whole weekend off. The doctor wants me to come in next on Monday. He said that as soon as I recover and we determine that I am in complete remission, I will be going up to City of Hope Hospital in Duarte to start scheduling a bone marrow transplant. That will be a couple weeks off probably.

On the medical front, nothing new. Just watching those blood counts.
