October 31, 2003, DAY #3
Friends,
Today has been a day marked by late afternoon of struggle with nausea. I actually ate some Froot Loops again for breakfast and I had Cheerios for dinner. It has been a one way trip so far. The doctor said I don't need to eat. Maybe I should give it up for a while. The doctor also said that having my blood count go down slowly is a good thing. Maybe the transplanted cells will start producing before all the old ones are gone.
On the medical front, they are adding Abelcet, which an anti-fungal medicine. This is preceded by Tylenol and Benadryl. Abelcet can cause chills and fever. Everything else remains the same.
