October 29, 2003, DAY #1
Friends,
Today is my day #1 after the transplant. I woke up feeling much better this morning, compared to yesterday. I did some work and walked around the ward after my shower. But I was nauseated most of the afternoon. I had the Wednesday morning chest x-ray done this morning. I did eat dry Froot Loops cereals this morning and was able to keep it down.
On the medical front, they are giving me TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition) IV and soy fat IV for nutrition since I cannot keep the food down. They also started me on Zofran IV for nausea. Still getting the same GVHD medicines and Heparin.
