Friends,
I have graduated to a morphine drip, which is continuous morphine. I am feeling a lot better with that. Unfortnately, morphine gradually looses its effectiveness with time.
I have had a fever today. My temperature has gone up through the day. In reponse they gave me a new antibiotic, which I seem to have tolerated well.
On the medical front, the fevers have started. The antibiotics, Tigecycline, don't seem to be doing anything. This evening I was able to swallow some liquid tylenol in an attempt to get the fever down
Lab Results: Looks like I will be needing a platelet transfustion in the near future.
