Friends,
This is Menchie on the keyboard. YES! I was allowed to be inside Ted's room today. It was a great gift for both of us. I am doing fine, no more sore throat and runny nose. Except for the runny nose this morning because I was crying for joy to be with him. I am still a little bit cautious though, but the doctor and nurse said that I am okey.
Today he got his last two radiation treatments. He slept off and on during the day. His blood pressure was a little bit low this morning but went up around noon. His appetite is poor because of nausea probably because of the radiation. No skin rashes. But they gave him the antibiotic this evening, so we will see about it tomorrow. But since the rashes are very minor and Septra (antibiotic) is the drug of choice, the doctors and Ted decided to continue with it.
Tomorrow is the big chemo day. We are not looking forward for that, but we going do what we have to do.
The lab results is different. His RBC and HGB went up.
