Friends,
Well, its another day. Today was a quiet day, but with a few changes. I didn't sleep well, probably because I was so upset yesterday. This morning, after breakfast, Menchie and I went for a walk, 2 times around the atrium. Later in the morning, my doctor decided I didn't have to wear the waffle boots any more, and I didn't need dressings on my heels any more, because they were healed, and that I should plan on going home tomorrow. All good news of course. So Menchie and I started preparing to go home. YEAAAAAAAH. Of course, for me, preparing to go home was sleeping through the afternoon while Menchie went home and cleaned up. That was after the Physical Therapist took me for another walk of three laps. Menchie got a hand blender and brought it here so we can puree my food. We told our nurse and her reaction was "I don't know anything". The nutritionists kept trying to get me to eat things that were painful or unpalatable, but I hope we made the 1200 calorie limit which they are still holding over us. Nothing else going on today. No transfusions, no med changes. Looking forward to tomorrow and sleeping for about a week in my own bed
