Friends,
I was still weak today, but spent most of the day sleeping. I went for a short walk, followed by a wheel chair ride around the hospital, this evening. I have been trying to sort out this entire process, and I think I am starting to get it. My lips are almost completely healed, that will be nice. I keep imagining that I am growing a new head, and if Menchie puts the lip stuff on in the wrong place I will have to start growing lips there. Perhaps that's what happened originally :) Some time during the night I had some tachychardia, which I guess is pretty bad, but I didn't feel anything except the excitement of the Nurse and CNA coming in to take my vital signs. My blood levels continue in the same area. The doctors remain happy with my progress.
I am scheduled to get an echochardiogram and bone marrow biopsy on Monday. I wouldn't recommend Monday for visiting. Speaking of visiting, I had a couple of visitors today, thanks for coming in! If you are coming to visit, please call ahead to ensure I am available on any day.
On the medical front, due to the tachycardia, they are re-starting my Metropolol three times per day.
