Friends,
Today is another quiet day for Ted. Just waiting for the WBC to go up. He is more alert today and talking. He did got out of his bed to sit in a chair in the morning and took a shower in the afternoon. His doctor emphasize being patient at this time of the transplant. They don't want to complicate things by giving him IV food supplement. They are hoping that soon he will manage to swallow without pain.
On the medical front-everything are the same. His creatinine is down, which is good. His morphine drip is still in 1 mg/hr. But he manage the whole day without extra dose of morphine. He did received a platelets today.
