Friends,
Today was a quiet day. Ted just slept most of the day. Except when the doctors came in to check on him. Also around lunchtime he did sit on a chair and fell asleep while we are changing his bed linen. He is more alert today than yesterday. They lowered his morphine again to 1mg/hr before noon. He did complained of pain around 4:30pm but he tolerated it. Then around 7pm he woke up again complaining of pain so the nurse gave him an extra 1mg of morphine via syringe. So his drip will still stay in 1mg/hr. They are talking of giving him TPN(Total Parenteral Nutrition)-IV nutrition. I am not sure when. But they mentioned that this morning.
The nephrologists are happy with where he is right now concerning his kidney. They didn't change anything. So as the cardiologists. They are just waiting for his mouth sore to heal and his counts to go up.
On the medical front- all the medicines are the same, nothings changed. No blood or platelets transfusion today.
