March 9, 2004 DAY #133
Friends,
Good evening! I have been feeling better and better as the week has gone on. The cold is going away, and my strength seems to be coming back. My appointment today was pretty routine. The lab results are good. We didn't get the blood chemistry results, so I don't know what my creatinine was, or how my liver is doing, unfortunately. The doctor didn't call, so I must be OK. Yesterday, the dermatologist gave me some ointment for the rashes, and did a punch biopsy on a couple of spots. They are about an inch apart, so I call it my snakebite. Other than that, it was a pretty routine dermatology screen. He shot a few spots with liquid nitrogen on my forehead, and that was it.
On the medical front, the doctor decreased my Prednisone to 10mg. Another small drop. As I indicated above, my dermatologist gave me a steroid ointment for the rashes, so we are applying that to the spots twice a day. My next appointment is next Tuesday. Hopefully there won't be any new, surprise updates this week.
