January 22, 2004 DAY #86

Hello again! Looks like all my updates go out on thursday now, whether it is Monday or not. I will have to get someone to QA my subject line more carefully. It is probably the drugs. We had a good time in San Diego. The commute back here was pretty hard though. Lots of traffic jams. We are anxious to get back there full time. I was really fatigued today right from the start. The doctor said I was doing too much. He wants me to rest more, I guess. So I came home and worked for about 5 hours this afternoon. Now I'm really tired. I guess I am not very good at resting. We will try resting over the weekend.
On the medical front, things continue going well. The doctor is still very happy with my numbers. I have a light rash on my hands and chest, but the doctor just wants to keep an eye on it and see if it doesn't go away by itself. He doesn't mind a little Graft vs Host (GVH) because it helps to kill the leukemia. Next Thursday we are planning to do a Bone Marrow Biopsy. If that goes well, he will start thinking about transferring me back to San Diego. He had wanted to get me off the Prednisone before sending me back, but he doesn't want to reduce it as long as I have the GVH going on, so he may send me back anyway. We shall see!
